And for some time you’ll be looking at me, wondering, “What the hell’s this?” And you’ll be shocked, thrilled even, amazed for a while. Thinking you’d never seen anything like this before. I’ll be sitting across the table, the room filled with friends and family, and you’ll marvel at how lucky you are to have come across such a nicely odd creature. That’s me. You’ll adore my outdated clothes, my weird wardrobe, the shiny skin and the oversized glasses. That constantly awkward expression. The breadcrumbs on the lapel of my jacket two sizes too large. Before long, though, this’ll all be gone, leaving one disturbing question behind, “Who’s guest is this?”
