Cities built on knowledge

The photograph was taken at the Royal Danish Library in the center of Copenhagen. As we strolled through this magnificent library, we thought about the immense number of books written and how cultures preserve and change over time. Our lives differ vastly from that of our grandparents, let alone 100 generations. The catalyst for such transformation lies in our ability to encapsulate acquired wisdom and experiences in books, movies, and stories.
The library window overlooks the cityscape and every book is a brick in the city of knowledge.
